This year's 17th issue of Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump revealed that the Black Clover anime will be getting a film . The publisher stated that it will reveal more details at a later date.

The anime will therefore end with its 170th episode , which will air this coming Tuesday. The final episode will feature an " important announcement ."
Black Clover premiered in Japan in October 2017 and was originally listed with 51 episodes, but continued into a new season, with episode 52 having been released in October 2018 and later continued with another new season in October 2019. On April 28, 2020, the anime went on hiatus due to the pandemic, and was then resumed on July 7 of the same year with episode 133.
The current arc in the anime is the Clover Kingdom vs Spade Kingdom , which has been in effect since January 5th.
