Young Champion Retsu magazine , published by Akita Shoten, revealed that the manga Black Joke , by Rintaro Koike and Masayuki Taguchi, is reaching its climax in the magazine's next issue, which will be released on May 17th.
The manga is set on the fictional Neon Island in Tokyo Bay, a place where gambling and prostitution have been legalized. There, gangs fight for control of the underground economy.
Koike and Taguchi launched the Black Joke manga in Young Champion Young Champion Retsu magazine in 2011, and the publisher Akita Shoten published the 10th volume of the manga in July 2020.
