anime adaptation of the manga Mugen no Juunin ( Blade of the Immortal ) received new information, where in addition to the main cast and production being revealed, there was also a new visual poster and trailer for the anime.
“Manji is an immortal swordsman, who was cursed with eternal life. He grew tired of living with all the death he created. He has no other skills than killing, which is why he comes up with his plan to regain his mortality: he must kill a hundred bad men for every good one he has killed. The old witch who gave Manji immortality agrees to his proposal, and Manji goes in search of a thousand bad men. On his journey he meets a young girl, Rin, who seeks her own revenge against the members of the swordsmanship school who murdered her family. Rin and Manji travel together, both looking for peace. In your path there are several and varied enemies. Rin and Manji are almost constantly under attack and must learn to live their lives without being consumed by revenge.”
Directed by Hiroshi Hamasaki Liden Films studio , the anime premieres in October this year on Amazon Prime Video. Makoto Fukami handles the series' scripts, Shingo Ogiso does character design, while Eiko Ishibashi composes the music.
Manji and Rin are voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda and Ayane Sakura , respectively.
