Game.BlazBlueArc System Works presented the script, cast and production team for the anime BlazBlue Alter memory , the television adaptation of the fighting game franchise, during the Arc System Works Festival held this Sunday in the city of Yokohama .

The story takes place in December 2199, when the streets are filled with anticipation for the end of the year and the beginning of another. Amidst the celebrations, rumors spread that Ragna the Bloodedge, a highly dangerous rebel with a large bounty on his head, has been spotted in the 13th Hierarchical city of Kagutsuchi. Ragna, better known as "the reaper," apparently aims to destroy the system that controls the world. To collect the bounty, a group of diverse warriors heads to Kagutsuchi.

Toshimichi Mori will oversee the project, and Hideki Tachibana will direct the anime at teamKG and Hoods Entertainment. Seiji Muzushima will collaborate on the direction. Deko Akao and Tatsuya Takahashi will write the episodes. Tomoyuki Shitaya will be the character designer and chief animator. Other staff members include:
