The news came from Tite Kubo's official profile, stating that the announcement about the two series will come in a special program called Krew beInside Shonen Jump 's official YouTube channel . However, there is no information yet about what the announcement will be about. So it could be something related to the anime or the return of one of the manga.

The Bleach manga ended in 2016 and returned in 2021 with a one-shot called No Breaths from Hell , promising a new story arc. Meanwhile, the anime adaptation of the Thousand-Year Blood War will return on June 25th.

BURN THE WITCH started as a one-shot manga in 2018 and gained a 4-episode anime in 2020. Tite Kubo announced a sequel to this manga a few years ago as well, but this continuation has no release date as of yet.

Synopsis:

After a series of Hollow murders and several disappearances in the Rukongai district, Ichigo and his friends discover that the Quincy are indeed alive. To jog their memory, the Quincy are an order of reishi-manipulating human mediums who kill Hollows rather than purify them like the Soul Society. Everyone believed the Gotei 13 exterminated these enemies 1,000 years ago, but the Quincy remained in hiding, waiting for the return of their king, Yhwach.

Finally, Tomohisa Taguchi ( Twin Star Exorcists , Kino's Journey – The Beautiful World , Akudama Drive ) is replacing Noriyuki Abe to direct the anime at Studio Pierrot. Masashi Kudo is returning as character designer, while Shiro Sagisu is returning to compose the music.
