On December 16, 2024, the anime's official TikTok account broadcast a special livestream featuring Tite Kubo , the series' creator. During the broadcast, he shared exclusive messages about the anime's future, further raising fans' expectations.
Final Adaptation: A Four-Part Journey
The manga's final saga began its anime adaptation in 2022, ten years after the series' original conclusion. Divided into four parts, each released annually, the story will reach its official conclusion in 2025 with Part 4. The studio is following the schedule precisely, which suggests that official confirmation for the final season could come as soon as the third part concludes.
Original Bleach episodes are coming
During the livestream, Kubo dropped an intriguing detail about Part 4 : “In the 4th cour, there will be episodes where people will be able to say, 'I've never seen this before.'” He confirmed that this season will include entire episodes of original content, not present in the manga or other materials , a first for BLEACH.
It's worth noting that previous seasons of Thousand-Year Blood War have included exclusive scenes and light novel adaptations. However, the upcoming season appears to elevate this concept, featuring full episodes created exclusively for the anime.
Kubo in creative control of his work
Tite Kubo is directly involved in the production at Studio Pierrot , serving as general supervisor. He contributes to supervising the scripts, storyboards, and even choosing the voice actors. Kubo also contributed to the anime's character design and voiced Kon in the OVA " Memories in the Rain ."
With so much care in production and the promise of new content, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 has everything to be an epic conclusion for fans.
