Bleach fans have always rooted for Ichigo and Rukia , and it seems that this support continues to this day. Michelle Ruff , Rukia's American voice actress, said she loves this support among fans, but doesn't see the characters' interaction as romantic.

After the voice actress saw how strong the Ichigo and Rukia ship is for some fans, she commented on her Twitter (X) with her opinion on the matter. She then reveals that she sees the characters' relationship more as a friendship than a romance.
"Ichigo and Rukia have good chemistry. I always thought of it as more of a brother/sister thing. But hey, we all have our opinions, and none of them are wrong."
Although the main character was strongly rooted for Rukia, the manga revealed that Ichigo ended up marrying Orihime in the end. Furthermore, Rukia also formed her own family with Abarai Renji .
Synopsis:
Shortly after a series of Hollow murders and disappearances in the Rukongai district, Ichigo and his friends discover that the Quincy are indeed alive. To jog their memory, the Quincy are a supernatural order of humans who can manipulate reishi and kill Hollows instead of purifying them like the Soul Society. Everyone believed the Gotei 13 exterminated these enemies 1,000 years ago, but the Quincy remained in hiding, awaiting the return of their king, Yhwach.
