Synopsis

After a series of murders in the Hollow and several disappearances in the Rukongai district, it is revealed that the Quincy were actually alive. The Quincy, to jog your memory, are of the order of reishi-manipulating human mediums who kill Hollows instead of purifying them like the Soul Society. They are thought to have been killed by the Society en masse 1000 years ago, with the exception of the Ishida family.

The anime's Japanese voice actors include members who did not appear in the anime, but are reprising their roles from the game Bleach: Brave Souls.
