We have a film adaptation of author Shinichi Ishizuka Blue Giant manga . According to the official website, the animation hits cinemas in Japan in 2022.
Synopsis:
The story follows Miyamoto Dai , a student who loves playing basketball, who changes his life the first time he sees a live jazz performance. The incredible song strikes a chord deep within him, and he immediately decides to dedicate himself to the saxophone.
Blue Giant began in May 2013 in Big Comic and ended in August 2016. A new arc called Blue Giant Supreme began publication in September 2016.
Furthermore, the manga was nominated for the 2015 and 2016 editions of the Manga Taisho Awards. In 2017 he won an award at the Japan Media Arts Festival Awards.
Finally, its last chapter arrived in May 2020.
