Chapter 300 of Blue Lock promises intense emotions as it concludes the second phase of the project. Spoilers suggest that Seishiro Nagi bids farewell to Reo Mikage, ending not only their on-field partnership but also an emotional bond that marked their journey throughout the manga.

With Nagi's elimination now official, the chapter shows the striker acknowledging that his dream was too small to survive in Blue Lock. He admits that he only wanted to continue playing soccer alongside Reo, which made him happy, but it wasn't enough given Ego Jinpachi's plan.

The end of a duo that thrilled Blue Lock fans

Subsequently, Nagi reveals that he doesn't regret allying himself with Reo. Still, the doubt about what could have happened if he had played alone against Bastard Munchen haunts him. For him, more frightening than failing as a player was the idea of losing Reo as a teammate.

In a moment of vulnerability, Nagi apologizes for not finding a new purpose and for passing the ball instead of shooting. Reo, in turn, rejects the apologies and states that Nagi never made a mistake. According to him, Nagi simply followed his dream, even without truly loving the sport.

Next, Reo admits guilt for having pushed his friend to push himself harder than he wanted. But he also acknowledges that this revealed a new side of Nagi: competitive, passionate, and willing to go the extra mile. For Nagi, these moments together were the greatest treasures of his life.

Despite this, he questions whether their encounter was truly a good thing. Perhaps, if they had never met, Reo would have become stronger. In the end, Nagi ends the dream they built together and asks Reo to continue on his own.

Isagi's final request and transition to a new phase

Before leaving the field, Nagi walks towards the Losers' Gate — the gate designated for those eliminated from the project. At that moment, Yoichi Isagi shouts, urging him not to give up on football. Nagi silently continues on his way and crosses the gate without looking back.

The scene officially marks the end of the Neo Egoist League, the second phase of Blue Lock. With this, the storyline moves closer to the highly anticipated Under-20 World Cup, which should reunite the surviving members of the Japanese national team for a new stage of challenges.

The next chapter, titled Parade, should show the consequences of Nagi's elimination and begin the team's preparation for the international tournament. The question remains how Reo will handle the farewell and if Nagi will return at some point.

The relationship between the two, built over three hundred chapters, concludes one of the most sensitive and complex storylines in the manga. Nagi's farewell, both bittersweet and mature, leaves deep marks on both his companions and the readers.
