A new trailer for the Blue Lock anime was revealed this Friday, August 12th. As we can hear in the video, the opening theme Chaos ga Kiwamaru by the band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN and the ending called WINNER in the voice of Shugo Nakamura .

Synopsis:
The story begins with Japan's elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, causing the Japan Football Union to begin a search program for high school players who will begin training for the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi , a striker , receives an invitation to this program shortly after his team lost the chance to go to nationals. Their coach Ego Jinpachi , who aims to "end Japan's failed football" by introducing a radical new training regime: isolating 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called "Blue Lock" and putting them through rigorous training with the objective of creating “The best striker in the world”.
Authors Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura launched the manga Weekly Shounen magazine in August 2018.
The work won the “ Best Shounen Manga Kodansha ’s “45th annual Manga Awards” event . Additionally, a spin-off manga focusing on Seishiro Nagi, titled Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, began serialization in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine on June 9, 2022. The spin-off is written and illustrated by Kōta Sannomiya.
