The soccer manga Blue Lock has formed a partnership with the Italian soccer club Inter Milan . They recently announced the partnership while the club is on tour in Japan.

To promote the partnership, new artwork featuring the Blue Lock characters was released during the friendly match against Al Nassr. Then, another piece of artwork was released yesterday during the friendly match against Paris Saint-Germain.
This partnership between Blue Lock and the Italian club was born at an event in Tokyo, where Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura , the manga authors, met Nicolò Barella , the Italian midfielder. Then, between 2023/24, new artwork from this partnership, created by the manga authors, will be released. In addition, the club's official store will launch exclusive shirts from this partnership for Inter Milan fans to purchase.
Synopsis:
The story begins with Japan's elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, prompting the Japan Football Association to launch a program to recruit high school players who will begin training for the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi, a striker, receives an invitation to this program shortly after his team fails to qualify for the national championship. His coach, Ego Jinpachi, intends to "end Japan's failing football" with a radical new training regime: isolating 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called "Blue Lock." Inside, Isagi and the other players compete fiercely to become "The best striker in the world.".
The first season of the anime was directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe at Studio 8 Bits , with animation by Kenji Tanabe and Kento Totani .
The manga Blue Lock debuted in Kodansha 's Weekly Shonen Magazine in August 2018, created by authors Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura.
