The official Twitter for Kodansha 's Weekly Shonen announced that the manga Blue Lock Nomura 's sudden illness .
The 45th issue of the magazine did not publish a new chapter of the manga this Wednesday. The manga is therefore expected to resume in the 48th issue of the magazine, which will be released on October 27th .

Blue Lock began its serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in August 2018. The publisher released the manga's 15th volume on August 17th, and the 16th volume will be published on October 15th.
The series has over 4.5 million copies in print . It's worth noting that the manga won the " Best Shonen Manga" at the 45th Annual Manga Awards held by Kodansha earlier this year.
In addition, the manga is inspiring an anime , which will premiere in 2022 .
