In the next issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine , the manga Blue Lock by authors Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yuusuke Nomura will receive an important announcement anime adaptation of the manga.
In addition, the most recent chapter will receive a color page.

Synopsis:
The story begins with Japan's elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, prompting the Japan Football Union to initiate a program to scout high school players who will begin training for the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi , a striker, receives an invitation to this program shortly after his team misses the chance to go to the Nationals because he passed to his less skilled teammate – who missed – without attempting to score the decisive goal himself.
Their coach will be Ego Jinpachi , who intends to "end Japan's failing football" by introducing a radical new training regime: isolating 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called "Blue Lock" and putting them through rigorous training with the goal of creating "The best striker in the world."
