Soccer manga Blue Lock has partnered with Italian soccer club Inter Milan . They recently announced the partnership while the club is on its Japan tour.

To promote the partnership, new artwork featuring Blue Lock's characters was released during the friendly against Al Nassr. They then released another piece yesterday during the friendly against Paris Saint-Germain.
This partnership between Blue Lock and the Italian club began at an event in Tokyo, where Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura , the manga's authors, met Nicolò Barella , the Italian midfielder. New artwork from the manga's authors will be released between 2023 and 2024. Additionally, the club's official store will release exclusive jerseys from this partnership for Inter Milan fans to purchase.
Synopsis:
The story begins with Japan's elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, prompting the Japan Football Union to launch a program to recruit high school players to begin training for the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi, a striker, receives an invitation to this program shortly after his team missed out on the national championship. His coach, Ego Jinpachi, intends to "end Japan's failed football" with a radical new training regimen: isolating 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called "Blue Lock." Inside, Isagi and the other players compete fiercely for one of their own to become "The Best Striker in the World."
The first season of the anime was directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe at 8 Bits , the animation is by Kenji Tanabe and Kento Totani .
The Blue Lock manga debuted in Kodansha 's Weekly Shonen Magazine in August 2018 by authors Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura.
