The third season of Blue Lock has finally received official news. During BLUE LOCK Day, celebrated on June 9th in Japan, the series' team revealed that the new anime arc will be titled Blue Lock: Neo Egoist League, and also released a brand new promotional visual for the production.
However, the news marks the beginning of the adaptation of the Neo Egoist League, known in the manga as "New Hero Wars". In addition to the main poster, new visuals of the characters Yoichi Isagi and Michael Kaiser, central figures in the next phase of the story, were also presented. The franchise also released a special video reminiscing about its various adaptations to celebrate the occasion.
New arch takes the competition to another level
The Neo Egoist League arc is one of the most important in the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura. In it, the surviving players from the Blue Lock project begin competing on teams linked to major international clubs, raising the technical and strategic level of the on-field battles.

The first season of the anime premiered in October 2022 with 24 episodes. Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan, the second season, aired between October 2024 and January 2025, totaling 14 episodes. Both seasons were streamed worldwide on Crunchyroll.
Franchise continues to expand
In addition to the main anime, the series also received the spin-off Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, which followed Seishiro Nagi's journey before he joined the Blue Lock project. The spin-off manga ended in July 2025 and also inspired an animated film released in Japanese theaters in 2024.
While the third season still doesn't have a confirmed premiere date, the reveal of the title and new visuals indicates that the production is moving towards one of the most popular phases of the series.
