BNA: Trigger studio's Brand New Animal gets manga

Shueisha 's Tonari no Young Jump web magazine published “chapter 0” of the new manga adaptation of the original anime from studio Trigger BNA: Brand New Animal this Friday (29/05).

The BNA manga drawn by Asano is only available in Japanese.

The Netflix-licensed anime aired on April 9 and ended on May 6, 2020, with 12 episodes and an original story by studio Trigger.

Synopsis:

In the 21st century, the existence of human-animals came to light hiding a dark past. Student Michiru lived a normal life, until one day she suddenly became a tanuki-human. She runs away and takes refuge in a special city known as “Anima City” that was created 10 years ago by human-animals so they could live independently. There Michiru meets Shirou, a wolf-human who hates humans. But through Shirou, Michiru begins to learn about the concerns, lifestyle, and fun of human-animals. As Michiru and Shirou try to understand why Michiru became a human-animal, they run into a major incident.

Furthermore, BNA was directed by Yoh Yoshinari ( Little Witch Academia ), written by Kazuki Nakashima ( Kill la Kill ) and Manabua (Megalobox) composed the soundtrack.
