The official Twitter Kohei Horikoshi 's Boku no Hero Academia manga announced on Thursday that the manga is on a two-week hiatus due to Horikoshi's failing health.

The manga was scheduled to have a new chapter in this year's tenth issue of Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump on Sunday. It will then return in the magazine's 12th issue on February 20.
My Hero Academia recently took a 1-week hiatus in December also due to Horikoshi's health.
Horikoshi launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. The manga's 37th volume released in Japan on Friday.
The anime's first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016. The second 25-episode season premiered in April 2017, and the third season premiered in April 2018 and ran for 25 episodes. The fourth season premiered in Japan in October 2019 and aired for 25 episodes.
A two-episode OVA special for the franchise aired in Japan in August 2020, while Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the episodes.
The fifth season of the anime premiered in Japan in March 2021 and aired a total of 25 episodes. A new two-episode OVA aired in Japan in June 2022.
The sixth season of the anime premiered on October 1st. Therefore, the season will air for two consecutive cours (a quarter of a year) and will have a total of 25 episodes. Finally, Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.
