The popular spin-off of Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia), about illegal heroes, had its anime adaptation confirmed this weekend.

Therefore, Vigilante Boku no Hero Academia (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) premieres in 2025 with animation by BONES FILM. Directed by Kenichi Suzuki and written by Yōsuke Kuroda.
Synopsis:
Koichi Haimawari couldn't become an official hero, so he uses his modest Quirk to perform good deeds in his spare time. One day, an unexpected encounter with some local thugs leads him to form a team with two other unlikely heroes. Neither of them quite knows what they're doing, but they have the courage—or perhaps just the recklessness—to try. However, they soon discover that fighting evil requires more than just bravery...
Furuhashi and Court launched the manga in Shonen Jump GIGA in August 2016. The manga was later relaunched on the Shonen Jump+ in December of the same year. Viz Media began publishing the manga digitally in English in August 2017 and is also releasing physical copies. Additionally, MANGA Plus makes the manga available digitally in English.
