Boku no Hero: Season 7 Blu-Ray will bring animation changes

In the anime world, it is common for studios to revisit some of their productions for Blu-ray versions, improving the quality of scenes that may sometimes have become short of expectations. This happened with titles like Berserk and Attack on Titan , and now it's Boku's turn at Hero ( My Hero Academy ) to go through this process.

Before the release of the Blu-Ray of season 7, the BONES studio has already presented some significant improvements in the animation, comparing to what we saw on TV.

In Japan, the Blu-Ray of the seventh season is now available, covering the episodes of the final war between Class 1-A and the League of Villains. The epic confrontation between Deku and Shigaraki , the most recent bearers of One For All and All For One, stood out as the great climax of this phase, so impactful that it could not be concluded just in this season. Therefore, studio BONES has already confirmed that the eighth and final season will arrive in 2025, ending the saga with an unforgettable clash.

Boku no Hero season 7 scene changes:

However, while we await this conclusion, animator Kohei Hirota has improved scenes from season 7 for Blu-Ray, showing differences that are already impressing fans. There is still no release date for this version outside of Japan, but it is likely to arrive soon, given the history of previous seasons.

Finally, keep an eye on Boku no Hero , which promises to be one of the most anticipated events of 2025!
