Horikoshi , in several interviews over the years, mentioned that Hisashi was working abroad and would return at some point to reunite with Deku and his wife, Inko Midoriya. However, the epilogue made no mention of him. The author didn't explain why he decided not to include the character, but there are a few hypotheses that may explain his absence.
Why did Deku never meet his father?
Since events like San Diego Comic Con 2018, Horikoshi has frequently answered questions about Hisashi by stating, "Deku's father will be revealed in the future."
