During the Jump Festa 2019 in Japan, the trailer for the fourth season of the anime Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) was shown. The new season premieres in October 2019.

The animation is by the studio Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist) and direction is by Kenji Nagasaki (Gundam Build Fighters, Classroom Crisis, No. 6), the script is by Yousuke Kuroda (Gundam Build Fighters, Honey and Clover, Trigun) and the character design is by Yoshihiko Umakoshi (Air Master, Heartcatch Precure!, Berserk).
Adapted from Kohei Horikishi's manga, the story follows an ordinary boy amidst a world of heroes and people with superhuman abilities. The manga is published in Brazil by JBC, while the anime has over 40 episodes since its inception in 2016 and airs on the Crunchyroll streaming service.
