Bokura no Yoake – Movie gets 2-minute clip

Avex Pictures released a new clip for the film Bokura no Yoake ( Break of Dawn ) on Tuesday.

The two-minute clip shows protagonist Yuuma and his friends chasing the domestic robot Nanako to the roof of a housing complex, and the robot revealing that it is currently not Nanako, but a being from outer space.

Bokura no Yoake premieres on October 21st this year.

Synopsis

The story of this "young adult" sci-fi manga takes place in the near future, the year 2049, where humanity has known for many years that Earth is on an inevitable collision course with a massive comet. The story focuses on Yuuma, a boy obsessed with space, robots, and the impending collision.

Tomoyuki Kurokawa (Dragonar Academy, Psychic Detective Yakumo) is directing the anime at Studio Zero-G . Dai Sato (scenario supervisor for Eureka Seven) is writing the script, and Pomodorosa (Listeners, Deca-Dence) is the original animation character designer and concept designer. Takahiko Yoshida (Cells at Work!, Big Windup!) is the character designer and animation director, while Masaru Yokoyama (2019-2021 Fruits Basket, Your Lie in April, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) is composing the music.

Therefore, GAGA and Avex Pictures are distributing the film.

Daichi Miura will therefore perform the film's theme song, called “Itsushika” (Before You Know It).

Tetsuya Imai (Alice & Zouroku) then launched the manga in Kodansha 's Afternoon in January 2011. The publisher has currently published two volumes of the manga.
