Synopsis
The plot follows Boruto Uzumaki, son of Naruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of Naruto, as he follows his own ninja path and faces new challenges on his journey. The manga introduces new characters, such as Sarada Uchiha, daughter of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, and Mitsuki, a synthetic clone of the former villain Orochimaru.
“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” is a manga written by Ukyō Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto . It is a direct sequel to the popular manga and anime “Naruto”, written by Masashi Kishimoto.
The Boruto manga began to be serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016, and currently has 15 compiled volumes released in Japan until September 2021. The manga is published in Brazil by Panini Comics.
Mikio Ikemoto's art style is similar to that of the original creator, Masashi Kishimoto, but has his own unique distinctions. The story is also a little more mature than Naruto's, and deals with themes such as family, friendship and responsibility.
Overall, the Boruto manga has received mixed reviews from fans and critics, with some praising the character development and evolving story, while others feel that it doesn't live up to its predecessor.
