Naruto saga's conclusion , the latest film starring his son, Boruto , has become a huge phenomenon in Japan. Data indicates that the film has grossed a cumulative total of 2.02 billion yen (approximately US$16.8 million) as of August 25th. It has sold a total of 1.56 million tickets in the 19 days since its premiere in early August 7th.
Compared to the previous film “The last Naruto the Movie” which had 2 billion yen about $16 million, Boruto becomes the highest earning in the Naruto franchise.
The new Naruto movie revolves around his son Boruto who commands the next generation of shinobi, having Sasuke Uchiha's daughter Sarada, both of whom were introduced in the final chapter of the manga.
