According to leaked spoilers from chapter 23 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Boruto may have surprised even Kashin Koji's Prescience Shinjutsu by defying his prediction of death and changing the fate of the battle against Jura.

Despite warnings about his imminent demise, leaks suggest that Boruto has devised a plan beyond Koji's foresight, which could solidify him as the true strategist of the new ninja generation.

Koji's prediction pointed to Boruto's death in the Land of Wind

According to spoilers released by reliable insiders, Kashin Koji instructed Boruto not to participate in the mission to the Land of Wind. According to him, all the predictions made by his Prescience Shinjutsu indicated that if Boruto engaged in combat against Jura, the result would be his certain death.

Therefore, Jiraiya's clone would have asked Boruto to remain safe while the other shinobi acted in the field. Koji wanted to protect the protagonist from a tragic fate that, apparently, he could not prevent.

Boruto ignores the prediction and takes an unexpected action

According to the leaks, Boruto begins to suspect that Koji isn't being entirely transparent about the mission. Therefore, fearing that Konohamaru could be killed and suspecting dangerous omissions, he decides to act on his own and teleports to the location of the fight against Jura.

This decision marks a turning point in the narrative. Even aware of the predictions, Boruto trusts his own judgment and bets that he can alter the course of events with an unexpected strategy, something that no prediction could have anticipated.

The fight against Jura and the change in Koji's perspective

Jura then appears and, as predicted, dominates the fight. Boruto seems to be cornered, and everything indicates that the prophecy will be fulfilled. However, spoilers suggest that Koji's Prescience Shinjutsu was updated in real time.

To his surprise, a new timeline appears, indicating that Boruto had done something beyond the reach of his predictive ability. This suggests that, for the first time, the protagonist managed to circumvent a destiny that seemed unalterable.

The secret plan involving Kawaki was the key to the turning point

Part of what Koji may have missed involves a strategic conversation between Boruto and Kawaki. Before the mission, Boruto would have suggested that Kawaki confront Amado to obtain offensive improvements, which he does in fact do.

When Jura is about to kill Boruto, Kawaki appears to save him. With newly acquired abilities, he enters the fight as a crucial reinforcement. This action, if confirmed in the full chapter, would indicate that Boruto orchestrated a counter-offensive that not even an advanced prediction technique was able to detect.

Delta and the movement of allies in Boruto's plan

Spoilers also indicate that Boruto instructed Konohamaru to gather the shinobi at a specific point. Initially, this order seemed confusing, but it was later revealed to be part of a coordinated action: Delta had been called to rescue Team 7 at that exact location.

This level of silent planning reinforces the idea that Boruto, more than a fighter, acts as a strategist. He anticipates movements, reorganizes allies, and executes parallel actions that even his allies didn't notice until the decisive moment.

Boruto may have taken on the role of strategist for this new phase

If the spoilers are confirmed with the official release of chapter 23, Boruto will demonstrate an unprecedented mastery of strategy and tactical maneuvering. Deviating from a supposedly fixed future and surprising even Koji, he assumes a new role in the plot.

Gradually, the protagonist ceases to be merely Naruto's heir and positions himself as the mastermind behind the resistance against the Tree Gods. With intelligence, improvisation, and audacity, Boruto reveals himself to be a character who transcends the label of successor to establish himself as a central figure in the approaching war.
