Eko Mikawa 's baseball manga Boukyaku Battery will be adapted into an anime in an ONA by studio Mappa , which has revealed the staff, cast and visuals.

Parako Shinohara is the anime director. Noriko Itou is the character designer and chief animation director. Hisako Akagi is the art director.

Additionally, the anime is part of the “Jump Special Anime Festa 2020” event on October 11. The event will feature talk shows with the voice actors of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen , as well as a new video for the second season of Dr. Stone: Stone Wars .
Finally, Mikawa-sensei launched the Boukyaku Battery manga in Shonen Jump+ in April 2018.
