The eSports Brasil 2024 Award announced the nominees for the popular and semi-popular categories, chosen both by the public and the specialized Super Jury. The event, in its eighth edition, aims to recognize the biggest names in Brazilian electronic sports, such as players, narrators, commentators and content creators.

In a total of 22 categories, among the 24 existing categories, the nominees were announced in a live broadcast held on the 3rd, led by Nyvi Estephan, Camilota XP and Mariana Ayrez.
The awards have already opened voting for the next phase , where the public and experts will select the three finalists in each category. Popular voting, available on the official website, will be responsible for deciding the winners in some specific categories.
Awards highlights
Among the categories, “Craque Betano da Galera” and “Best Streamer” are decided exclusively by popular vote, allowing fans to have an active participation in choosing the winners. On the other hand, categories such as “eSports Athlete of the Year” and “Best Athlete in the Inclusive Scenario” will be decided by a specialized jury, which includes names such as Carol Bombshell, Jairo Foxer and Fogueta. This ensures a balance between the public's opinion and the experts' technical assessment.
The CEO of Player1 Gaming Group, Leandro Valentim, highlighted the importance of the event for the eSports community, stating that the 2024 live event had a relaxed format to warm up the public for the main ceremony. According to him, the active participation of the community in choosing the winners makes this one of the most anticipated moments of the year.
Nominees in various eSports modalities
Among those nominated for the award, big names in electronic sports stand out, such as FalleN , nominated as “Craque Betano da Galera” and “Best Counter Strike Athlete” , and Aspas , nominated in categories such as “ Best Valorant Athlete” . The diversity of modalities is also a highlight, with prizes for players of Counter Strike, Fortnite, Free Fire, FIFA, Mobile Games, League of Legends, among others.
In addition, inclusive categories also gained space, recognizing athletes and streamers from emerging and minority scenes. Among the nominees in the inclusive scenario are Biazik, Mel and Natasha, all competing in the “Breakthrough Athlete – Inclusive Scenario” category.
