Kimetsu no Yaiba breaks One Piece's all-time record

This Wednesday (04/22/2020) Kimetsu no Yaiba , the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge , broke the famous One Piece as the best-selling manga in the annual Oricon , a record that had been unbeaten since 2011.

The manga reached 38,191,494 copies sold in fiscal 2020, surpassing One Piece 's 38 million . Although it is early 2020, the numbers are expected to increase, setting a better record.

It's also worth noting that the series debuted in Shonen Jump in February 2016 and currently has 20 bound volumes. Kimetsu no Yaiba has been one of the biggest hits of all time. The visual adaptation has 26 episodes, all produced by Ufotable which is also producing a feature film focusing Mugen Train

In addition, Ufotable also released a commemorative illustration for Inosuke's birthday (04/22/2020).
