Fans of BTOOOM! were surprised by unusual news: it was revealed in volume 20 of the manga that the Anime series will receive a mobile game, which will be available for Android and IOS.

Gaming company Asobimo mentioned on its official website that the game will feature online multiplayer battles in a large-scale 3D environment. Elements familiar to fans will be present in the gameplay. More details are yet to be released.

Btooom! is a manga and anime series written by Jun'ya Inoue. The first chapter was published on June 19, 2009 in Weekly Comic Bunch by Shinchosha. The manga is currently published in the Monthly Comic Bunch and has 18 compiled volumes. An anime adaptation made by Madhouse was shown between October 4, 2012 and December 21, 2012. It is published in Brazil by publisher JBC.
