Publisher JBC has announced its newest title for 2014. BTOOOM !, a seinen manga by Inoue Junya, published since 2009 in Comic Bunch magazine. The title currently has 12 volumes and is still ongoing. The series gained major attention in 2013 with its 13-episode anime, which covered approximately 9 volumes of the manga. The title began to be requested by fans around the world, eventually being published in the United States, Italy, France, Spain, and elsewhere.
BTOOOM is expected to be released in the first half of the year and is JBC's first title of the year.
The story revolves around the character Sakamoto Ryuuta , a typical boy who does nothing with his life. One day something strange happens to him while he's sleeping and he wakes up in the middle of an island (LOST!) with no memory of what happened, and no one who can help him.
