Therefore, the premiere of the anime My Awkward Senpai (Bukiyō na Senpai) will take place in 2025. It is directed by Ayumu Kotake (Acro Trip) at the Elle animation studio.
Bukiyō na Senpai Synopsis:
“Kannawa-senpai is many things, but she is certainly not cool. Then, she meets Kamegawa, her new Kouhai. He's cute, a little nerdy, and easy to talk to. How will this clumsy senpai deal with these new feelings?!
Therefore, Bukiyō is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Kudo. The story began as a webcomic published on Kudo's Twitter account in March 2019. It was later serialized in Square Enix's seinen manga magazine Young Gangan in December 2019.
