Synopsis:

Nakajima Atsushi was expelled from his orphanage, and now he has nowhere to go and nothing to eat. While near a river, on the verge of starvation, he saves a man from a suicide attempt. The man is Dazai Osamu; he and his partner Kunikida are members of a very special detective agency. They possess supernatural powers and handle cases that are too dangerous for the police or the military. They are tracking a tiger that has recently appeared in the area.
