Burn the Witch – Video reveals theme song

The official website for the anime Burn the Witch, inspired by Tite Kubo , has released a new promotional video previewing the theme song. The video features NiL's "Blowing."

Furthermore, the 41st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump revealed that Kubo is already working on a sequel to the manga.

The film premieres in Japan on October 2nd, with a running time of 60 minutes. The film will also be streamed in three episodes on Crunchyroll in Brazil and on Amazon Prime in Japan.

Synopsis

Historically, 72% of all deaths in London are caused by dragons, fantastical creatures invisible to most people, and only the residents of Reverse London, the "other" side of London, can see them. Of these residents, only a select few are selected to become witches and wizards and make direct contact with dragons.

The protagonists of this story are Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. A pair of witches and protection agents for Wing Bind (WB), a dragon population control organization. Their mission is to watch over London and defend it from dragon attacks.

Tatsuro Kawano (Psycho-Pass 2) is directing the anime, and Yuuji Shimizu is the assistant director. Chika Suzumura is writing the script. Natsuki Yamada is the character designer. Keisuke Okura is designing the dragons, while Keiji Inai (DanMachi) is composing the soundtrack.

Finally, Burn the Witch had four chapters published, debuting on August 24th, but the manga will soon get a "second season." Furthermore, Tite Kubo is the author of the renowned manga Bleach.
