Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was officially announced in April for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, today, Activision confirmed that there will be versions of the game for last-generation consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360). This time, however, Wii U players won't have a version of the trilogy to play.
This announcement was made via the franchise's official website, and Activision's statement is that "they know that there are many players who have not yet moved to the current generation."
The last-gen version will feature the three main modes from Black Ops 3: campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. However, the co-op campaign will be limited to just two players, unlike the current-gen version, which allows up to four simultaneous co-op players.
