Following the release of Resident Evil 3, rumors are strongly circulating behind the scenes at Capcom. According to the website VGC , the latest rumor is about a remake of Resident Evil 4 game reportedly scheduled for release in 2022.
The development would be entirely handled by M-Two, that collaborated on Resident Evil 3. Founded by former PlatinumGames (and former Capcom employee) Tatsuya Minami , who has been preparing for the project since 2018.
Finally, Shinji Mikami , director of the original Resident Evil 4, would not be involved in the development, but he gave his blessing and advice to the project's direction.
