This Friday (6), Capcom announced during the Summer Game Fest 2025 , the new game Resident Evil 9: Requiem with a trailer. However, fans can already note the release date.

Therefore, Resident Evil 9: Requiem will be directed by Koshi Nakanishi , a big name within Capcom and responsible for hits like Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Revelations . In 2024, he had already announced that he was involved in a new project in the franchise.
However, before the official launch, fans will be able to try out a playable demo of Requiem at Gamescom 2025 , which takes place in August in Cologne, Germany.
