The official website for the highly anticipated anime Captain Earth has released another promotional video. The video highlights the anime's story that begins when second-year high school student Daichi Manatsu suddenly sees a mysterious rainbow floating in the skies over the island of Tanegashima on TV during summer vacation.
Where he says “I've seen this rainbow before…” BONES, the same studio responsible for Star Driver, is in charge of the animation. Takuya Igarashi supervises the series with a script by Yoji Enokido, the two have previously worked together on Ouran High School Host Club and Sailor Moon Super S.
The anime is scheduled to premiere in April of this year.
