Captain Earth , a new series that has been produced by studio BONES has started to be shown on Japanese screens. The anime will premiere on April 5th on MBS . You can hear the opening song “ Believer's High ” by the band Flumpool .
Directing special effects is Yasushi Muraki , while Masaru Yanaka and Koji Eto are in charge of art with Takeshi Takahashi as designer. Koki Ota directs the CG, and Yoshiyuki Asai is serving as the assistant director and Shigeru Nishiyama is the anime's editor.
Synopsis – The story begins when second-year student Daichi Manatsu suddenly sees a halo (circular rainbow) in the night skies over the island of Tanegashima on television, on the eve of summer vacation.
He thinks, “I've seen this rainbow before…” So he heads to Tanegashima, the headquarters of the Japanese space agency, on his own. With the mystery of his father's accidental death and his memories of mysterious boys and girls he knew during his childhood, Daichi arrives on the island full of emotional complexes and encounters the robot “Earth Engine”. So Daichi is asked: “Are you the captain?” The target is the mysterious mechanical life form “Kirutogangu” that will invade Earth from Uranus. With this premise, the anime promises to deliver a more traditional mecha anime filled with fights and battles.
