Synopsis
Tsubasa Ozora is an 11-year-old boy who started playing football at an early age, projecting all his dreams and thoughts around the sport. To pursue his desire to become the best football player in the world, he moves with his mother to the city of Nankatsu. There, he needs to develop all the talent and skills he has to stand out.

Based on the 1981-1988 Captain Tsubasa manga by Yoichi Takahashi , the new adaptation premiered in April 2018 on TV Tokyo and other stations. The anime retells the story of Takahashi's original manga from the beginning, and ended with its 52nd episode in April 2019.
