The trailer for the live-action of Gekijōban Cardfight!! Vanguard (Cardfight!! Vanguard the Movie) has been released. The film is scheduled for release in Japan in September.
Musician Daigo will return to the franchise for a cameo in the film, along with Suzuko Mimori, Taizo Shiina, Takuma Sueno, and other cast members. Takashi Motoki is directing at Ace Entertainment.
In the anime portion, Neon Messiah, the characters Aichi and Kai join forces to face a formidable enemy. Shin Itagaki is directing the anime portion at Ultra Super Pictures with a script by Mayori Sekijima. Tsubasa Yonaga, Takuya Sato, and Izumi Kitta reprise their roles as Aichi Sendo, Toshiki Kai, and Misaki Tokura, respectively.
The fourth installment of Cardfight!! Vanguard: Legion Mate-Hen debuted last spring and continued the story from the third series, Cardfight!! Vanguard: Link Joker Hen.
