Castlevania: Nocturne – New Trailer and Season 2 Release

This Monday (13) Netflix released a new trailer for the second season of Castlevania: Nocturne , revealing the premiere date of the anime's 2nd season , for January 16, 2025 .

The series will have a total of 8 episodes of 25 minutes, continuing the story of the first season.

The anime is a spin-off of Castelvania and takes place 300 years after the main events involving Sypha and Trevor . Thus, this new season will follow the continuation of Richter's search for Erzsebet Bathory, the Vampire Messiah, who intends to plunge the world into darkness.

The brother duo was the protagonist of the game Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and also made appearances in other games such as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night .

Project 51 Productions is producing the anime, working with Powerhouse Animation . Therefore, the first season of the spin-off premiered in September 2023 and continues the events of the main Castelvania series.

Castlevania Synopsis:

France, 1792, the height of the French Revolution. In a remote region in the west of the country, the counterrevolutionary aristocracy forms an alliance with the terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to "consume the sun" and use an army of vampires and Creatures of the Night to end the revolution and enslave humanity. However, the sorceress Annette seeks Richter Belmont, the last descendant of the legendary vampire hunting family, to lead the resistance.

The anime focuses on Richter Belmont , a descendant of Sypha and Trevor, and is set during the French Revolution (1789–1799), inspired by the games Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Castlevania: Symphony of Night .
