Cells at Work! Gets Cat-Focused Spinoff Manga

The June issue of Kodansha 's Shonen Sirius announced two new spinoff manga from Akane Shimizu Cells at Work that will begin serialization in the magazine's July issue on May 25.

Choco Aozora is therefore writing the original story and Meku Kaire is drawing the manga Hataraku Saibō Neko (Cells at Work! Cat) (left in the image above). Additionally, Koma Warita is writing the original story and Ryō Kuji is drawing the manga Hataraku Saibō Okusuri (Cells at Work! Medicine) (right in the image above), while Shimizu Production is working cooperatively on both manga.

The latest spinoff manga in the franchise to launch was Hataraku Saibō Muscle (Cells at Work! Muscle), which launched on Kodansha's Morning Two manga website on February 16. Yū Maeda is in charge of the manga's drawings.

Finally, Shimizu launched original manga in the March 2015 issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine, and ended it in January 2021.
