Chapter 200 of Chainsaw Man will be officially published on Wednesday, April 16th, at midnight Japan time. The new edition will be available for free on the platforms that offer the first three and the last three chapters of the series.

Announcement

For Brazilian readers, the release will take place on Tuesday the 15th, at 12 PM (Brasilia time). The expectation is that the new chapter will provide details about the next steps for Fami and the Fakesaw Man, now under the direct control of the Demon of Death, the central figure of the current arc.

Death in command and uncertain fate

In the previous chapter, the manga delved into an intense sequence that showed Death stating that, even if she disappeared, her successor would hardly have the same appreciation for humanity. In a fatalistic tone, she reinforced that the destruction of the species would be inevitable given the growing fear that humans feel of death itself.

Announcement

Fami suggested being devoured by Chainsaw Man to erase the concept of death, but Death dismissed the idea and used it as the basis for a new plan. Before fully revealing his plan, Death interrupted his speech and began to act. At the end of the chapter, he ordered Fami and Fakesaw Man to plunge humanity into terror.

The sequence of events suggests that the next chapter should show the two carrying out these orders. However, it's possible that the pair's actions will serve as a trigger for clearer explanations about the Demon of Death's objectives.

Looking forward to reuniting with Denji and Asa

The narrative may alternate between the movements of Death's servants and conversations with the Demon of the Fall, a figure also present in the final chapters. Fans expect these interactions to reveal more about the central plot, even if it remains shrouded in mystery.

Another point of attention is the return of Denji and Asa Mitaka (also known as Yoru, the Demon of War), who haven't appeared for several chapters. Therefore, their interaction with Fami and Fakesaw Man could lead to a direct confrontation, resuming storylines that have been developing since the previous arc.
