Chainsaw Man Announces Anime and Part 2 of the Manga

Tatsuki Fujimoto 's Chainsaw Man manga has announced an anime adaptation by MAPPA ( Attack on Titan : The Final Season, Jujutsu Kaisen ) and, to the surprise of fans, a second part of the manga that continues in Jump+ .

The anime's announcement hasn't been confirmed by official sources yet, but we'll keep you updated here at AnimeNew. Additionally, CSM will be performing at Jump Festa , which will take place on December 19th and 20th, so we can expect more information soon.

The first part of the manga, known as the "Public Safety Arc," concluded with chapter 97 in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump . Jump+ is Shueisha's digital platform that hosts manga such as Fire Punch, Spy x Family, and Kaiju No. 8. Additionally, the name of Chainsaw Man's new arc has not yet been announced.

Denji is a very poor young man, owed a huge debt by his father. Together with his chainsaw-wielding pet named Pochita, Denji earns money by doing various odd jobs, hunting demons, and even selling some of his organs.

Fujimoto launched CSM in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in December 2018, finishing the first arc in December 2020 with 11 volumes.

Finally, as of October 2020 CSM had over 4.2 million copies in circulation.
