Chainsaw Man – Fans complain about not announcing the 2nd season of the anime
Check it out:
The MAPPA studio event brought news about its biggest animes, such as Jujutsu Kaisen , Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga . However, the event did not bring any updates on Chainsaw Man, other than an interview with the anime's voice actors. So fans, who were expecting the announcement of a new season, were disappointed with the event.
See fan comments:
- The only thing I liked about Mappa Stage 2023 was seeing Pochita and the Giveaway... until there is no announcement for season 2.
- MAPPA should give Chainsaw Man to the Bones studio and focus only on Jujutsu Kaisen, Vinland Saga and Attack on Titan.
- I knew MAPPA had nothing left to offer Chainsaw Man.
Synopsis:
The story takes place in a world where demons are born from human fears. Although they are generally dangerous and malevolent, humans can form contracts with demons to use a portion of their power. Denji is a depressed young man who is trying to pay off his late father's debt to the yakuza by selling several of his organs and working as a demon hunter. But Denji also has a dog-like demon named Pochita, who resembles a chainsaw and assists Denji in his work.
Therefore Tatsuki Fujimoto launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, ending the first arc in December 2020 with 11 volumes.
