This week, Dante , an American boy, won a Halloween contest at his school wearing a Chainsaw Man cosplay. However, after the contest, he was bullied and his cosplay was destroyed. The case went viral online, and many fans showed their support for Dante, including the voice actors from the anime.

Check it out:

After Dante's father shared his son's story on Twitter, thousands of Chainsaw Man fans showed their support for the boy. In the photos, the father details his son's homemade cosplay, which even won a costume contest. According to the post, other children at the school attacked Dante after the contest and destroyed his cosplay.

However, even Ryan Colt Levy, Denji 's American voice actor , sent a message of support. Like the fans, the voice actor praised the boy for his work and encouraged him not to give up. All this support moved Dante and helped cheer him up after the incident.

Synopsis:

The story takes place in a world where demons are born from human fears. Although generally dangerous and malevolent, humans can make contracts with demons to use a portion of their power. Denji is a depressed young man trying to pay off his deceased father's debt to the yakuza by selling several of his organs and working as a demon hunter. But Denji also has a small pet demon named Pochita, who assists him in his work.

Therefore, Tatsuki Fujimoto launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, finishing the first arc in December 2020 with 11 volumes. Now the manga continues with its sequel through a new story and a different protagonist, Mitaka Asa, a student who attends the same school as Denji.
