Makima from Chainsaw Man gets new animation and otakus go crazy

Chainsaw Man is an anime that left its mark on fans, mainly featuring the character Makima . This time the character and protagonist Denji were part of a new animation created by independent animator Kizumashiro.

Therefore, Ryuu Nakayama directed the anime at studio MAPPA , scripts by Hiroshi Seko and character designer by Kazutaka Sugiyama.

Chainsaw Man Synopsis:

The story takes place in a world where demons are born from human fears. Although they are generally dangerous and malevolent, humans can form contracts with demons to use a portion of their power. However, Denji is a depressed young man who is trying to pay off his late father's debt to the yakuza by selling several of his organs and working as a demon hunter. But Denji also has a small pet demon called Pochita, who helps him in his work.

Therefore, author Fujimoto launched the manga in the popular Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, finishing the first arc in December 2020 with 11 volumes in total.
