Tatsuki Fujimoto 's manga , the film adapts one of the most beloved arcs of the work. The story follows Denji , a debt-ridden young man who lives alongside the demon Pochita . After a pact, he is reborn as Chainsaw Man , a hybrid who fights other demons.
In this new plot, Denji meets Reze , a mysterious girl who leads him into a whirlwind of emotions and intense battles. The storyline directly follows the events of the anime that aired in 2022.
Finally, distributed by Sony Pictures , the film arrives in Brazilian cinemas on October 23rd dubbed, subtitled, 3D and IMAX versions . The film is the first anime shown in the country with this technology.
