Chainsaw Man has never been afraid to push boundaries; the series has shown us everything. Denji lives in an incredibly cruel world, but continues to fight against it. However, the Chainsaw Man manga has just proposed its darkest deal yet.

The revelation occurs in chapter 174, released this week by Tatsuki Fujimoto . In it, fans join the Public Safety Commission, where the representative secretly meets with a series of Japanese leaders. The ministers are informed about Chainsaw Man's power to devour demons in his true form. Now, the commission wants authorization for Chainsaw Man to devour the Demon of Aging, but there's a terrifying condition.

For the agreement to happen, the ministers must coordinate a massacre. The Demon of Aging will only be eaten voluntarily if the following condition is met:

In exchange for being devoured by Chainsaw Man without resistance, the Demon of Aging wants us to kill 10,000 children with Japanese citizenship, between the ages of infancy and nine, in front of mirrors.

The sickening negotiation leaves at least one of the ministers disgusted, but when his children are threatened, he gives in. Tadashi Hasegawa, the former finance minister, approves the proposal with ease. He orders the group to sacrifice orphaned children from demon attacks, and if they need more, Japan is willing to adopt international children who can receive Japanese citizenship. And, well, the corrupt minister is completely in agreement with this kind of sacrifice.

Finally, chapter 174 of Chainsaw Man is a lot to process. Comment below what you thought and what your expectations were. Don't forget to join our WhatsApp .
